We work with just the adults in the family because there are less resources available to help adult family relationships. Also, it is more developmentally appropriate to use family therapy when children and teens need to participate.
Family Mediation is a confidential, solutions focused approach to navigating family conflict.

Adult family relationships can be hard to navigate and create healthy changes. Many choose to just disengage, which can be appropriate at times, but can also mean significant loss that may be avoidable if there were some new agreements in the family about how to move forward.
We help adult family relationships identify needs and develop plans for the future - hopefully together. Believe it or not, but not every family issue needs to be processed together to find a path forward. Using conflict management skills and understanding of family dynamics, we develop a customized Family Mediation plan with you.

Family estrangement is a painful experience. Sometimes it is a mutual decision, but more often, one person chose to leave or was forced to leave the family. Once the estrangement has occurred, especially after a prolonged period of time, families can struggle to know how to see if a reconnection is possible.
We help families explore that possibility in a trauma-informed Family Mediation process that has shared agreements about the framework and is paced according to the clients' needs.

Family businesses face unique challenges that are as wide ranging as the type of family businesses that exist. Navigating choice, power, roles, priorities, identity, legacy, and profit can be daunting. Therapy may not feel appropriate because not only do the relationships need to be helped, but business needs to get done.
Family Mediation can provide a confidential space for challenging conversations, practical problem solving, and skill development. We are experienced in working with interdisciplinary teams to support families, so we can build the team that your family needs.
